SIMPLY MUSIC is a remarkable Australian-developed piano and keyboard program that has beginning students of all ages playing great sounding pop, blues, classical and accompaniment pieces immediately – literally from their very first lessons. My name is Kristin. I’m a professional vocalist, pianist, actor, and songwriter who has performed on the West Coast for more than fifteen years.
I’m a licensed Simply Music teacher who works with piano students of all ages and levels – both privately and in small classes (no larger than 4 students) – at my studio in North Oakland.
Throughout my life, I’ve found tremendous joy in playing music, both alone and with others. My primary goal as a teacher is to share this joy with my students and to teach them how to discover the capacity for it within themselves.
I also teach voice, theater, and run a small performing arts after school program for three different schools in Oakland and am a part of the Laney Theater program as well.
