My training and teaching are from the Russian school of piano playing. I taught private lessons for over thirteen years. Teaching is my great passion. I believe that each student should be approached individually. My job as an educator is to teach students to think and work independently so that in the future, they would no longer need me as a teacher.I teach students of wide levels of age and experience, from four-year-old beginners to college level pianists. Some of my students have won first prizes
in national competitions, and some of the older ones have been admitted to schools of music at the university level.
My lesson structure varies from student to student. For the beginner, the class will be divided into few smaller sections. I focus on music appreciation, ear training, theory and piano technique. I emphasize hand and sound development. Having flexible and free hands is essential for piano playing. I believe that it is very important to provide the beginning pianist with good basics. For the advanced student, I work on technique, sound, interpretation, memory, repertoire, and musicality. Of course all the lessons are constructed based on
individual need and level. I believe in all my students, and I put in an extreme amount of effort in order to provide an positive experience with music and the piano. I believe that with hard work and the right attitude, everything is possible!
