Received the highest ("superior") rating at district competitions and qualified to compete at the state level for roughly a decade. Won Piano Solo and Piano Concerto awards for the Florida Federation of Music Clubs, and 1st place winner of the Piano Duet event for 4 consecutive years. Winner of the Space Coast Pops Young Artists Competition, and invited to perform a piano concerto as the guest soloist for their concert of over 2,000 in the audience. Experience mostly resides in the area of piano performance on stage.

With piano as my lifelong passion, I am looking to work with students at the beginning and intermediate levels to help them realize the fun of playing the instrument! I can work with students of all ages with an interest in learning piano and music performance. Since I am a graduate student at the University of Oklahoma, I can easily relate to those in high school and college, and my previous teaching experience has predominantly been with this age group and older. But again, all ages, including children over the age of 7, are more than welcome!

I have had a lifetime of musical experience with performance as my emphasis. I have won several piano competitions and was invited to perform as a soloist with the Space Coast Pops. In addition, I have had performance experience with other instruments as well (trumpet and violin) and have conducted and written drill for marching bands.

Since I am still a student and am not affiliated with any lesson-giving organization, I can offer very personalized lessons at reasonable rates. These lessons will be offered once a week in accordance with your schedule!
