My name is Jacob Thaller Ritenour. I have been playing Bass guitar for the past 13 years. I have studied Western Tonality with an emphasis on Jazz Studies and Improvisation. Teaching lessons is my passion! Furthermore, I am able to teach to all ages.
I have been part of many groups. When I was eight years old, I was in a folk band named JL Watts and Friends. The two men in that group made who I am today in music and life. I also was in two country bands, one named Donna Adams and Scott Hisey. I was able to open up for Keith Urban in these bands. Currently, I am studying music and composing several songs for my solo album. I have a unique style mixed with Victor Wooten, Jaco Pastorious, Hadrien Feraud, Stanley Clark, and Steve Baily. These guys are extremely talented. Some of my technique comes from these guys. I can teach bass guitar and electric guitar. I do classroom study and one on one. Also, I am flexible with times. Look forward to hearing from anyone. Blessings!
