Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to look for music lessons. First of all, I love teaching & playing music! I grew up in a musical family & I can truly say that music & kids are two areas that I am very passionate about. As a music teacher, I not only try to focus on the functionality of the music & performance, but also the student in who they are as an individual.

My desire, is to not just teach music, but also to encourage & build confidence in each of my students so that they can feel good about their accomplishments in music & at the same time have fun & enjoy coming to music lessons.

Lessons are taught in 3 trimesters. Within each trimester a group lesson is arranged for all students to participate in. I believe this opportunity helps them not only meet other students, but broadens their perspective to the many elements of music that surround them daily. I believe it also helps them grow more in their confidence as they play for each other and critique one another.

There are 2 recitals in the winter & spring.

Each student will need to have their own piano/keyboard or flute to practice the things they learn at their lessons. A metronome is required for all students.

By taking music lessons, I hope that all my music students will grow in their musical confidence while continuing to develop their own individual talents in all areas of their life. Look forward to hearing from you.
