SANDRA BARAN - Director
Mrs. Baran holds a Master of Arts degree in music from Florida Atlantic University; is a member of the Palm Beach County Music Teachers Association and the National Guild of Piano Teachers.She has taught pre-school music through college level music courses at Florida Atlantic University. Mrs. Baran is a staff musician at St. Patrick’s Church, Palm Beach Gardens.The founding of the Jupiter Academy of Music was inspired by the memory of Ms. Baran's father, Joseph Cricchio, who owned a large music school in New Jersey. Ms. Baran maintains a studio of piano students from beginners to advanced, and continues to perform in South Florida both as a pianist and as a member of the professional singing group, The Parson Brown Singers.

Our guitar staff boasts experts in jazz, rock and blues styles.

Many of our students have gone on to study music at the Bak Middle School and Dreyfoos School of the Arts.

The Academy was established in 2002 in Jupiter, Florida, and is recognized by the community as the standard of excellence in musical education.

The Jupiter Academy of Music's Mission is to provide exceptional music education and performance opportunities to students of all ages. We are convinced that a knowledge and appreciation of music is fundamental to the development of every individual and we believe that making music enriches both the lives of the students and the cultural environment of our community. We also believe that learning music is a fun experience!
