I enjoy teaching students of all ages and levels. Learning piano can be wonderfully rewarding and enjoyable, and my teaching style is to offer constructive criticism with a positive attitude, emphasizing attainable goals and progress along the way. Lessons will focus on learning to read music, ear training, theory, and technique. My primary specialty is classical music, although I am always happy to offer hymns, pop, and/or jazz supplements depending on the individual student’s interests.

I have 25 years of piano experience and over ten years of teaching experience, including teaching piano at the Dunwoody School for the Arts in Georgia, being a group piano instructor at Boston University, and teaching privately beginning in 1997.

If you’re not sure if you or your child is ready for lessons, you are more than welcome to come try it out for a month and see how it goes, with no long-term commitment. Contact me today to schedule a lesson time, and start experiencing the joy of learning piano!
