Robin is is a both a recording artist and a dedicated piano teacher with more than 25 years of experience. Her formal musical training began at the age of 7 and her formative years were spent studying with concert artist and teacher Nino Albanese. While still in her teens, she was a finalist in several regional piano competitions, including two successive Southern California Bach Festivals.

During college, Robin studied privately with Johana Harris and continued post-graduate studies with Daniel Pollack (USC).

Robin's teaching style in rooted in the traditional european method, combined with use of 21st century computer and recording technology for more advanced students. Her studio is equipped with a Steinway "L" grand and a Baldwin SF-10 grand.
