I earned my bachelor's degree in Business Management at the University of the Ozarks and my master's in Business Administration at the University of Arkansas. I have studied piano since I was 5 years old, continuing through my college years. I competed in the Miss America Pageant system for a number of years and was given many awards for my piano performances.

Having played the piano for over 20 years, I am now a member of the American College of Musicians and National Guild of Piano Teachers. My students have consistently scored the highest marks at National Guild Auditions over the past 3 years.

I was a teacher at the top piano studio in Northwest AR for two years, and am now the owner of Stage Notes, where we teach both in-home and studio lessons in the North Richland Hills, TX area. As a young teacher, I have the energy and outgoing personality that students need in order to maintain an interest in learning piano. I have a very relaxed teaching style, as I have found that students are more likely to progress in their studies if they are truly enjoying their lessons.

Stage Notes offers private piano lessons to students ages 5 and up, and group classes for students under the age of 5. Two recitals are held each year, as well as the opportunity to audition for the National Fraternity of Student Musicians.
