Butler Piano Studio

I have been teaching piano for almost 20 years. I believe that we are all musical in our own unique way.

I received my training and Bachelor's and Master's music degrees at Tift College and Wesleyan College in Georgia followed by Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kentucky.

Music should be a significant part of everyone's education. By providing quality piano instruction through individual private lessons, students can acquire a love of music and achieve piano proficiency. This depends not only on the teacher, but on the student's own willingness to be teachable and diligent in learning to play the piano. By creating a fun and challenging environment that is encouraging and inspiring, an atmosphere will be created that will help each student to surpass their potential.

I teach out of my house which is a tradition I began several years ago. Students become part of my family, and they are always welcomed.

I teach Monday through Fridays beginning at 5:30 p.m, and I take my last evening appointment at 8 p.m. I also teach on Saturdays beginning at 11 am. Lessons are thirty minutes in length, and meet once per week.

Tuition is paid at the beginning of the month for the entire month. Lesson books and music are not included in tuition.
