Crystal was chosen to sing the National Anthem at the Houston Astros Minute Maid Park for the Opening Ceremonies on July 26, 2004. She was also one of 22 contestants chosen to compete on KPRC Channel 2 Houston's "Gimme the Mike!" television show. Crystal was also part of "Inspire the Desire" a Gospel Talent Showcase in April 2004 that later aired on PAX49 TV. Crystal has played and sang for several years for the AAUW Holiday Home Tours in the Houston area, been a guest lecturer for Ace Theatre, performed for Chamber Banquets & Expos, been a vocalist for churches in Houston, Giddings and Whitehouse, TX, sang for weddings and wedding receptions, and performed at numerous Restaurants, Country Clubs, Malls, Fairs, Hotels, and nursing and retirement facilities all over Texas. In addition to her performing experience, Crystal has been teaching music since 1992 and formed her own music studio, C B Music Studio, in 1996 where she teaches currently. In her spare time, Crystal writes and produces her own music, takes care of her husband of 13 years and her 3 little boys and stays active in her church and community.
