From 1947 to 1950 I studied with Dorothy Schock after she had retired from the NY Metropolitan Opera chorus. For more than 50 years I have researched and studied the work of the Italian masters during the three hundered years before the twentieth century. It is generally accepted that their methods produced the finest singers in history.

My passion is to do everything I can to assist in passing on their knowledge and skills to the singers of our time. It is my opinion that the basic skils are of great benefit to singers of all genres.

In addition to myself, there are two young ladies that I have trained who are coaching here in their own studios. Each of us have unique skills that make it possible for us to meet the needs of most students regardless of age, experience, personality, skills, etc. Many of our students have gone on to professional and amateur careers in Recording, Musical Theater, Opera and many other fields.
