Berklee College of Music 1995

I believe that learning an instrument and playing music should be both fun and rewarding, as well as a tool for self expression. I am a professional guitarist and bassist with 20 years teaching experience. I graduated from Berklee College of Music in 1995. My lesson plans vary from student to student depending on each student's personal goals. I like to teach a bit of music theory with each lesson, so that the student will develop the ability to understand what they are playing. I also believe that learning good habits and mechanical skills are important in the beginning so that bad habits don't develop. I love working with both children and adults of all ages and levels. I specialize in finger-style blues, jazz and folk guitar, but enjoy teaching pop and rock as well. I also teach electric bass.
