Bio / Personal Statement
Lessons are held once a week for 30 minutes at Joe's studio at his home in Wylie.
I have been a guitar instructor for over 20 years and am the author of my own method book.
I started playing music at age 9 and was playing professionally by age 16. I was a student at The High School For The Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, TX.
After receiving a BM in Jazz Studies from The University Of North Texas, I freelanced in the DFW area and toured with my original blues/ rock band 'Joe and The Bluefield' . The cd 'Makin Up Stories' gained local airplay and was well received. The cd 'Orfeu',my first acoustic project featuring myself on all instruments was release in 2004. My current band is Pedestrian Detour is currently working on new material and playing locally.
Details
I teache all styles of Guitar.
Parents are welcome and encourage to sit in on lessons. Your child will progress faster If you are involved.
There are no makeup lessons but I will attempt to reschedule students.

No registration fees.
Most materials included.
$80 a month flat fee
Private 30 minute lesson-once a week
