LessonsThatRock provides guitar, bass and piano lessons to kids and adults of all ages. We offer 60, 45 and 30 minute sessions that are available every week or every other week in the comfort of your own home.

Our goal is to get you to play your favorite songs within weeks of your first lesson.

Using the skills they’ve learned, our students have rocked out with our band in front of audiences ranging from 20 to 50,000 people. It’s a great self esteem builder for kids.

What sets us apart from the rest is we’ll show you what you need to rock with others all while learning your favorite songs and becoming an expert on guitar in the process.

Micah J. Mata, owner, has over seven thousand hours of instructional experience teaching everyone from tikes and teenagers, to adults of all ages. He is comfortable teaching students that have never picked up a guitar as well as instructing long-time players new methods to increase their playing abilities and expand their repertoire.

He has developed his own instructional technique focusing on the students’ strengths and desired direction. He has finished his first instructional based publication, the Student Notebook™. Micah donates his time & talents to several various charitable causes, sometimes enlisting the aid of students. This includes performing at the 2008 LA AIDs Walk, in front of over 50,000 people.
