Hello, my name is Meghan Pardi and I am a 2007 graduate of Loyola Marymount University and a 2009 graduate of Pepperdine University where I obtained a Masters in Clinical Psychology. After undergrad, I decided to start teaching piano lessons again. I taught during my four years of high school in Northern California. Then I taught in Southern California during my two years of graduate school and now I am moving back again to Northern California to begin my Marriage and Family Therapy Internship. During my two years in Southern California I traveled to student's homes of all ages to teach piano lessons. I worked for a piano company called Little Maestros Music and had students of my own.
LESSONS:
I will be teaching out of my home in Clayton or I am willing to come to students for an additional fee. Lessons are once a week for 30 minutes. Anyone from age four and up is welcome, beginning to intermediate levels. Students will be expected to practice 5X a week for a half an hour.
TEACHING METHOOD:
I learned from the best, my mom, I took from her for ten years. She has been teaching piano and voice privately for thirty-three years in the Northern California area. With a B.A. in Music and a lifetime teaching credential from San Jose State University, I could not have asked for a better teacher. I fit the curriculumn to the student's abilities. I am open to all styles of piano and emphasize music theory.
