Bio / Personal Statement
My Guitar obsession began many years ago when a friend asked me to go to a concert to see Joe Satriani. At the time I had never heard of Joe Satriani or had heard any of his music. The night of the concert came and I was so blown away by Satriani's guitar playing I bought a guitar the very next day. I became obsessed with the guitar right away and it just took over my life!
My influences are: Joe Satriani, Greg Howe, Paul Gilbert, John Petrucci, Richie Kotzen, Eric Johnson, Blues Saraceno, Steve Vai, Eddie Van Halen, Larry Mitchell and many more. I am also influenced by a lot of Blues and Country players such as: SRV, Jeff Healey, Gary Moore, Albert King, Chris Duarte and Brad Paisley.
Currently, I am teaching private Guitar lessons and Playing guitar in both an Instrumental Rock and a Blues Rock band.
Why study guitar with me?
I have a technique for teaching where my students can achieve very fast results. By studying under me you will gain knowledge in Technique, Scales, Chords, Arpeggio's, Theory, Songwriting and much more. My students gain confidence and learn how to stay focused while practicing. I teach all ages and believe you are never too old to learn. All you need is a guitar and the desire!
Studio Atmosphere: I have a private teaching studio that offers an extremely professional learning environment.
