Objective

To produce competent pianists through a well-rounded curriculum including sight-reading, rhythmic and metronome skills, music theory, ear training, and technical skills necessary for a fluid and elegant style.


To understand each student’s learning style and prior musical knowledge and create a program of music that will not only accomplish educational goals, but will also be rewarding and fun.


To give students knowledge of the great tradition of classical music, the master composers and the styles that emerged from the historical periods.
